This tour can be operated by raft or kayak, depending on your preference. If you choose the raft option, you will be able to relax and enjoy the scenery while your guide does the paddling. If you choose the kayak option, you will get a more active experience and have the chance to paddle your own kayak. No matter which option you choose, you are sure to have a memorable experience on this safari float. Common animals that can be seen on safari raft tours include monkeys, sloths, caimans, crocodiles, and various birds. Safari raft tours also offer stunning views of the surrounding rainforest and riverbanks. WHAT TO BRING: A bottle of water, insect repellent, a hat, binoculars, comfortable clothing, and sunscreen. Private tours are also available, ask for pricing.
Transport
The microbus will pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna and take you to the starting point of the tour. Transportation to and from La Fortuna is included.
Naturalist Guide
You will be guided by a bilingual naturalist who will share their knowledge of the area with you. Our guides are experts on safari adventures.
Wildlife Spotting
It's possible to spot animals like sloths, monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, lizards, and turtles, as well as the colorful world of tropical birds.
Costa Rican Snack
Traditional Costa Rican snack of tortilla, ripe plantain, cheese, and coffee. Plus chocolate speech and testing. Everyone must bring their own water bottle.
