Abner came recommended from another guide while we were visiting Monteverde. By coincidence, he was giving a tour at the hotel we were staying at in La Fortuna. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time with Abner on his very educational and exciting Sloth tour. We managed to go during the rainy season when there wasn’t a lot of other tourist so it felt like we had the entire rain forest for ourselves. Abner’s ability to spot out wildlife and the amount of information he had on every plant, animal and body of water we came across blew me away. Acutus is a great tour company and Abner is a fantastic guide. We had an amazing sloth tour while in La Fortuna, and ended up seeing lots of birds, a snake, a bat, and 2 types of frogs.
