Scenic Horseback Riding
The tour begins with a short briefing on horseback riding safety and the dos and don'ts of riding in the mountains. Then, you'll be matched with a horse that is suited to your riding ability. The ride takes you through the lush rainforest, where you'll have the opportunity to spot wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, and sloths. Our horseback riding tour is a great way to see the rainforest and get some exercise. No prior riding experience is necessary. You can choose to ride to Mirador Pino Blanco for stunning views of the rainforest and Arenal Volcano, and then ride to La Fortuna Waterfall, where you can cool off in the refreshing waters of the river. WHAT TO BRING: Long pants, closed-toe hiking shoes, water, bug repellent, and sunscreen.
Transport
The microbus will pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna and take you to the starting point of the tour. Transportation to and from La Fortuna is included.
Naturalist Guide
You will be guided by a bilingual naturalist who will share their knowledge of the area with you. Our guides are experts in horseback riding.
La Fortuna Waterfall
Take a horseback ride through the mountains to La Fortuna Waterfall, where you can cool off in the refreshing waters of the river.
