The Arenal Volcano National Park is a birdwatcher's paradise, home to over 500 species of birds. From colorful toucans and trogons to majestic hawks and eagles, there is something for every bird enthusiast to see. Your guide will start by giving you a brief overview of the park's birdlife and the different habitats that you will be exploring. You will then set off on your birdwatching adventure. As you walk through the park, your guide will point out different birds and share their knowledge of their behavior and ecology. You will also have the opportunity to use binoculars and spotting scopes to get a closer look at the birds. WHAT TO BRING: Binoculars, hiking shoes, bug repellent, sunscreen, camera, rain cover.
Transport
The microbus will pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna and take you to the starting point of the tour. Transportation to and from La Fortuna is included.
